New Delhi, September 23 – Haider actor Shahid Kopoor and his lovely co-star Shraddha Kapoor played the game of Kaun Banega Crorepati with the Amitabh Bachchan as part of the film’s promotion. The noble part of this promotion was that the pair donated the winning amount of Rs.3,20,000 to flood stricken people of Kashmir, where Haider was shot.
Shahid, Shraddha and director Vishal Bharadwaj have reportedly made the donation to the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund. Speaking about their noble gesture, Shraddha said, “Our shoot in Kashmir was wonderful and we have very happy memories to share about the same.
To think that people in all those beautiful locations have suffered so much is heartbreaking.” Amitabh Bachchan too appealed to audiences to donate towards the relief of flood victims.
