The cause of death is “still pending” following an autopsy of the estranged half-brother of North Korea’s ruler, following his mysterious death at Kuala Lumpur’s airport last week, Malaysia’s director general of health said Tuesday.

The post-mortem for Kim Jong Nam (pic), the older brother of Kim Jong Un, showed no evidence of a heart attack and nothing to suggest puncture marks, Noor Hisham Abdullah told reporters.

Kim Jong Nam was killed on February 13 by two women who appeared to attack him with liquid at Kuala Lumpur’s international airport. He had a seizure and died while being transported to a hospital.

“We are still waiting for the next of kin to report to us,” Noor Hisham said.

The body will be handed to next of kin after the investigation is completed, Malaysia’s Foreign Ministry has said.

Kim Han Sol, the 21-year-old son of Kim Jong Nam, had been expected to arrive in Kuala Lumpur on Monday night, local media said, but those reports could not be verified.

Armed police on Tuesday could be seen outside the Kuala Lumpur hospital where Kim’s body was reportedly being held.

Also Tuesday, Vietnamese state media confirmed that one of the suspects arrested in connection with the killing held a Vietnamese passport. Doan Thi Huong, 28, was arrested on February 16.

A total of four suspects have been arrested linked to the killing.
